who’s eve? You may never really know who I am, but I’ll share with you a few deets so that you know where I’m coming from…
I’m currently in my 30’s (which will change as this blog ages along with me) and live and work in the heart of a big city. I love being around all the action, close to all my friends, and sleeping in to last possible minute before my 10min walk to work. Work? I guess the core of what I do is marketing; but it’s a combo of writing, designing, geeking out, events and PR all wrapped up in green.
I was a pretty carefree wanderer in my 20’s. Did a lot of backpacking around the world on my own, worked on developing my career and spending lots of quality time having fun with my family & friends. I was always single and liked it that way, until I met someone at age 28, thought he was “the one” and got married. It unfortunately didn’t last, and as much as I valued the promise that I made, it wasn’t a healthy situation for me to be in. So at the age of 30, I found myself back on the single scene, but this time terrified to make the same mistakes and get my heart broken again.
And then comes along Adam. Well, he was already in my life as a friend and someone that I thought was kick ass in many ways. He was good looking, athletic, smart, funny, good looking…did I mention that already? These were the things that I had noticed over our 5 years of friendship. But now he was single! We started to hang out more, and before I knew it I was discovering so many more amazing qualities. Compassion, Integrity, Creativity, extreme geekiness (which is a huge turn-on for me!) and he went from being good looking….to being someone I could barely keep my hands off.
So this is our journey. We’re inviting you along for the ride. Maybe you’ll learn something from us, and if you share your experiences…we’ll for sure learn something from you. We bring to this blog our past, our fears, our hopes and dreams….our competitive drive to want to create the best and our scientific manner of analyzing everything. We’re far from experts on this matter. But what you’ll get, is our honest hearts and minds spewed in these posts, with the hope that it helps us, and you, in this wild adventure of life.
